Dr. Sowmya is a highly motivated and skilled professional with ~18 years of experience in biotechnology, where worked at prestigious institution and company like IISc Bengaluru, CFTRI (CSIR), Bangalore University and Avesthagen graine Ltd., Strand Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd, and Central Research Laboratory. She has developed expertise in analytical biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, protein chemistry and next generation sequencing techniques. She has published twelve peer-reviewed papers in international journal and presented twenty-four papers at national and international conferences. She has also published one review article and three book chapters. Apart from these, she has received the best performance award, Women scientist award (DST-WOSA), and bursary award to present her research in international conference.
